All of our collections are proudly designed and sewn in Jakarta, Indonesia. However, our heart lies in the materials: we source our authentic batik fabrics directly from traditional artisans across Java, allowing us to closely collaborate with and support local craft communities.
We are deeply committed to preserving artisanal craftsmanship. We do not use mass-produced textile prints. Instead, we exclusively focus on traditional hand-stamped techniques known as batik cap. Each pattern is hand-applied by skilled artisans using a traditional copper stamp (canting cap) and hot wax, making every single garment uniquely beautiful and authentic.
To ensure our modern staples are breathable and perfect for daily wear, we strictly select premium natural fibers. Our collections feature grade-A cotton and linen blends. These fabrics are chosen for their durability, comfort in warm climates, and low environmental impact compared to synthetic materials.
Sustainability is woven into every stage of our production. We practice slow fashion by creating small-batch capsule collections to prevent overproduction and textile waste. Furthermore, we practice zero-waste principles by repurposing our high-quality batik cotton and linen fabric scraps into useful daily essentials and accessories, such as custom lanyards, rather than sending them to a landfill.
We believe in a circular design economy. All of our leftover batik cotton and linen fabric scraps are collected and upcycled. Our design team repurposes these remnants into small, functional accessories like charms, lanyards, wristlets, and pouches. These are offered as sustainable daily essentials or included as special eco-friendly freebies in our customer packages.
Because our garments are crafted using authentic batik cap techniques and natural fibers, proper care will extend their lifespan significantly. We recommend hand washing in cold water with a mild, pH-neutral liquid detergent (or traditional lerak soap), or simply hand wash & body wash. Avoid bleach, do not wring tightly, and line dry in the shade out of direct sunlight to keep the natural colors vibrant. Iron on a warm setting.
